What's the point?

They text, email and invite me to bars, but I just don't wanna force it with theses cacs

Besides, I don't feel a connection with these people like I did at my last job

my co-workers are like the complete opposite of me. ive been nice and friendly with them and even grabbed some drinks. but they dont understand my humor and i dont understand theirs and the girls they think are hot have me like ehh and then i point out one and they are like and the majority of them are married or soon to be married

Like if your coworkers + supervisors go out, and you never go, its gonna be hard to form that bond with your supervisors

You dont have to do much... just go have a drink every now and then... just enough so they dont think you think youre better than them. Won't kill you

It depends....I worked with this Indian programmer who was a way better programmer than me...but was a lame when it came to meeting and talking to people....now I go to the meetings on base and meets the Majors and Colonels....he sits at the office because the program manger i snot comfortable with him

Next thing you know the Boss found out. Now its like everyone hold that against him. That shyt was fukked up im like why are yall bringing his personal life to fukking work.

my last job was full of minorities, so I made a few friends over the years.

I been here like 3 months and some change, but haven't made any friends. plus our floor only has 12 people on it despite this company having over 20,000 employees. however since most of them work in the hospitals, and I don't, I dont get to see/meet that many new people.

Well, it's all depends on the people on your job. One of my best friends I met was on the job. We still cool to this day even though he went to a different department. But yea, it's really hit or miss. I'm like Fiend, I only fukk with a few when it comes to chilling with people on my job.
