Is it common knowledge that SmackDown was better than Raw during 02-05 era?

I feel that Smackdown was better than raw in the for the early part of the Ruthless Aggression era.

Paul Heyman in charge of SmackDown and the roster was a big part of why I liked it more than Raw back then

Also Raw had Triple H's 20 minute opening promos and practically hogging the main event spot every fukking week.

It's a shame SmackDown has turned into a Raw recap show now
