You dudes are so sickening with your Penny Hardaway"no player can be as good as a player that played in 1989" steez.Only db on Deion level is Rod and Mike Haynes
fukk you talking about fool? I love Revis but all time he's in the second group. Those other guys played man and still made plays. Revis will just shut you down. There's a difference. no hate on him at all.You dudes are so sickening with your Penny Hardaway "no player know an be as good as some player that played in 1989" steez
Revis is incredible..
H
i agree but I don't recall him shutting down Jerry though.these two arent reasons. you arent providing any data for #1 or #2, basically spouting subjective bullshyt
like deion aint shut down jerry, cokehead irvin, carter or tim brown![]()

He didnt shut dem n1ggaz down. Well, not Jerry and Irv. They got theirs. I've seen Revis shut down Moss, TO, mega, Andre Johnson, and the list goes on.

Moss was still a beast and he was on NE.
umm....didn't Revis miss the next few games thoThat must've been when Moss styled on him and one handed that 9 route.....and Revis reserved his spot in the "Faking an injury when you mess up" thread.

"he also hasn't made a big play in his life"- Trip
Lol at one catch being having his way on Revis.fwiw, Steve Smith had his way with him in the divisional game and Steve Smith is like 100 years old. The Colts stunk and he had a nice game against an UDFA in the Super Bowl. Revis in 2009 was invincible...he's a very good player right now. But lets keep things in perspective, please.
The Patriots pass defense finished 12th in total DVOA, which is OK.

Revis has made Manning ignore Reggie Wayne into one catch in a playoff gameI think Revis is the closest to Deion in terms of shutdown.
Before Revis the closest I had seen was Asomugha on the Raiders. Obviously he fell off something fierce, but Revis is better than Nnamdi ever was.
I still give the edge to Deion. Deion literally made QBs ignore half the field. Dude didn't even line up in the defensive huddle. Just stood outside the numbers until they got off the field, one way or another.
Revis probably has better technique. Deion was a freak athlete. Speed, agility, footwork, most of all hip fluidity. Deion had it all, and he made it look effortless. Revis plays textbook DB while Deion was a 99 OVR freak in a video game.
44 yards is having his way? he had over 100 the week before. what happened?fwiw, Steve Smith had his way with him in the divisional game and Steve Smith is like 100 years old.
