Friends and fam - No. My house is their house. They are welcome to grab a drink. Same with if I have food cook, i offer them a plate then tell them to fix it themselves.

Strangers or first time guests - Yes. I'll grab a bottle of water if you're thirsty.

Yeah forget that man, I was taught to be respectful when in others peoples houses. I remember I had a friend that I had known for maybe like 2 months and he came to my house one day and went straight to the fridge to get something to drink! For the 1st 5 secs I was shocked! I was like who the fukk you think you are?! Then I told him don't be grabbing shyt in my house without permission that's disrespectful! I thought it was just common knowledge not to do things like that but guess I was wrong.
