Is it fair to say that this was the highlight of Romeo's (Lil Romeo's) career?

Hater town??

:what:

The way I remember it...By late 97 NYC was all on the No Limit bandwagon. Had nothing to do with being haters....That No Limit sh*t took off nationally after The Bout It movie hit the streets
Yes ya'll hate (not the fans, the dj's etc) until it's so undeniable that you're forced to lean back.
You dont find it odd that P was popping in 94' in ohio,(very far from cali) 3 YEARS BEFORE NY?
Master p dropped an album in 1996 that went on to go platinum.
Let that marinate. In 1996,Master P dropped an album that went plat in a shorter time than illmatic and just as fast as reasonable doubt and you didnt even know. Why do you think that is? Cause they hate and block out others as much as possible .

U sound delusional and make no sense.

When I was in Basic training in 1998 them southern boys were talking about DJ Screw and The Hot Boyz.....I had never heard of these guys because they didnt have national attention like that. Its not hate when NYC doesnt have access to whats popping locally in another state.

Access? nikka there's been countless rappers pointing out Ny's hate. Luke was talking about nikkas hating nearly 30 years ago. 2pac talked about being in jail hearing q-tip,red alert funky flex (we know how he get down) on the radio hating and mocking the west coast. Own ya'll shyt. How are you gonna blame access? Ice cream man was a nationally released album, had videos and went plat. They just tried to sweep them under the rug like they tried to do everyone else until the south shut ya'll down for good and made ya'll change ya'll whole style of music making to end NY starvation mode. But your dj's media were haters.
Ask yourself why P dropped an album in 1996 that outsold iron man and 1995's OB4CL even though both are considered major staples over there. All are street albums. Neither are pop doo be wop. But P trumped them both. How could that happen without you knowing, cause ya'll (dj's) were hating.
