Why would it be "gay" of all things? A man needs to know how to take care of himself. That includes making money, violence, basic repairs, cooking and cleaning. I can cook. Not any fancy recipes, but I won't go hungry.

All the men in my family are excellent cooks, as are the women. I probably, no not probably, I'm the least skilled in comparison to my brothers who worked in various restaurants, and it's not like I don't follow a mean recipe, just not a "natural cook" like the rest of the fam. They can just go and whip up something delicious.

So yeah, go for it.
