He may not gross the girl out, but most girls are like when it comes to most guys and how they look. A good looking dude is a rare thing, especially past a certain age where most start to get that pot belly. However I do agree with you that women are not as visual as men, evolution didn't work for women to find the most pretty man, her instinct is to find a strong mate that will protect her, the children and provide a strong safe home.
