Of course it did. But that was also over a decade ago :comeon:. Plus wwe was actually decent at making guys look like stars back then. And over that decade+ they've ingrained in the fans that SD is the B show. Doesn't help that they continually raid the show whenever it starts to do good for itself either.

It's funny you mention the SD6 era tho. They had alot of great talent that helped make SD be a better show but what happening after awhile? They ended up on Raw like everybody always does because at the end of the day that's what WWE cares about.

Of course it did & apparently it still does because some of y'all still bring up ratings outta spite.

My thing with this whole ratings stuff when it cones to some of y'all is either you're gonna believe it holds weight or it doesn't, but I find it stupid when people only bring it up outta convenient in order to bash the product.

If you don't believe it holds weight then don't bring it up period.:yeshrug:

Lesnar>>>>>>>> Nakamura

No bait, just Facts:umad:

:heh: You're writing dissertations about "vanilla midgets don't move units". WWE could fill the roster with a bunch of Brian Cage, Punishment Martinez, Kongo Kong and Keith Lee looking mufukkas and you'd still troll.

Gentleman Jack Gallagher should be WWE Champion, I agree

Actually that's the part I was referring to. You said "So when smackdown was putting up better ratings than raw back during the smackdown six era, you telling me that ratings has nothing to do with quality of the show???" Smackdown WAS NOT PUTTING UP BETTER RATINGS THAN RAW THEN. It was the better quality show around that time, yet Raw was still the higher rated show. So no, ratings and quality DON'T have a direct correlation, especially in 2017. That was the whole damn point of the post. Attitude was considered the best era cause it had tons of great characters to invest in and good-great writing, even if the matches weren't much to write home about. If you're gonna respond, please provide some logic and facts, and not just arbitrary statement.

Ratings was an indication of that.

In 2017 ratings still matter, otherwise y'all wouldn't feel the need to bring it up damn near every week.

No trolling. Lesnar isn't some generic wrestler. He's a legit star that some of y'all hate.

People wanna see stars & these are facts.

These threads tells it all because the stars of yesteryear more times then not get brought as a measuring stick.

You know & I know things ain't how it should be.

It was an indication THEN. They've been on a steady decline regardless of the quality of the programming. Didn't say ratings didn't matter, I'm saying currently, the ratings for the most part aren't reflective of what's going on the show. Cena can (and will :martin:) pop up on either show, and I'm sure the ratings would get a boost. Does that mean the show was good? Nope. The ratings will be exactly what they are unless there's a drastic change, starting at the top.

This is your excuse. I don't believe you since ratings get talked about weekly on here, but it's whatever.:manny:

Who I can quote right here in this thread saying rating has nothing to do with the quality of a show.:dame:

Breh I said RAW having better ratings than SD has nothing to do with show quality because no matter what Raw will always be the bigger show. Anybody bragging about SD doing a better rating than Raw for a week or two takes this shyt too seriously. Even when SD had a few better ratings than Raw back in the SD6 era it was never coming for Raws spot because that shyt is cemented.

Yes SD being treated like an actual different show and not being a glorified raw rerun has helped its ratings. But that still isn't gonna put it on raws level. WWE has made it so the show is perceived as less than Raw :manny: that just how it is.

Do you just hit reply without reading people's posts, along with not proof-reading your own posts? I'm not sure what's so difficult for you to understand.

Y'all say that now, but bring up ratings as if it holds weight later on.

Some of y'all only use this ratings stuff as an outlet to sh!t on the product(especially raw)

Y'all want it both ways, but it doesn't make sense.

Me personally I think it does matter & I dont mind backing it up, but what irritates me is that some of y'all flip flop.

One moment it matter the next moment it doesn't matter.:dame:

Your top face gets booed by the vast majority of fans.
Your main champion rarely shows up and never wrestles on TV.
You have a guy in a bear suit wrestle on Raw.
You have Hardy's vs Sheasaro every week for like 3 months.
One of your top faces (Dean) looks and wrestles like a homeless bum.
You have bland, boring cruiserweights taking up at least 30 minutes a week screentime.
You have Kallisto vs Crews/Titus every week for months.
Have Cass/Enzo cut practically the same promo for over a year and not expect it to get stale.
Have this gen's Undertaker be a short, fat guy who can never take a W unless he's banging ring announcers.
Have most of your top guys be generic firstname/lastname guys who have no personality or charisma.
Have some of the worst commentators line up for any sport, ever, Cole is WOAT, Corey is meh and Booker is embarrassing.
Turn one of the GOAT's in Kurt Angle into a boring, generic GM (although this story-line has potential).
You've got one of your top female wrestlers be an ugly foot who can't cut promos and hugs people.
You got one of the most popular women in Sasha doing fukk all, Summer Rae sitting on the bench etc etc.
Hardly any gimmick matches anymore, or weapons etc etc.
Promos are usually terrible and are too scripted, Miz is one of the rare few who are good.
Most story-lines, feuds, matches are boring, generic, yawn-inducing, no stakes, worn out, over done etc etc.
3 Hours is just way too long, crowds chant the cringiest shyt that will turn away any non wrestling fan.
PPV names are WOAT, Great Balls of Fire, Fast Lane? WTF?

And this is just for Raw, and I'm sure I've missed some stuff out (feel free to add on brehs).

And some people wonder why ratings are down? :patrice:
