Is it just me or are a lot of posters getting banned?

beanz earned his ban by having an extra username to come back and have more arguments, where he's in the wrong and should just drop it...

i made this screename more than a year ago when i thought i wanted to switch up n then decided against it. never even used it til yesterday. but thats neither here nor there so

...and look, I really don't like @Always-Right Liggins sometimes (his arrogance doesn't suit him as well as he thinks), but I have to clear something up: he actually advocated AGAINST a ban for beanz.

I understand what caused his mini-meltdown somewhat, because "spic" is used far too often around here...and I've seen it used with such disgusting hate.

I can't blame him for blowing up, but he had plenty of chances to cool off, especially considering Liggins was working to remove the hate speech and the poster involved. I like beanz, but he did go overboard.

ill admit i let it get under my skin more than i should have. been using the coli for idk like 3 years and ive been called spic many times and it never got to me til then. if i went overboard then ill take my ban and this will be my last post with this username.

but i still think its a bullshyt ban especially considering the fact it was never explained to me specifically why i got banned. whatever tho .

shyt was stupid. As a Latino, I have said 'nikka' about a million times in my life and I swear on my unborn daughters life I have never ever used it with animosity or disrespect. Since I started using the coli and seen how so many brehs feel about it, I have honestly tried to wipe it out of my vocabulary because it is an ignorant word whether it has an 'a' or 'er' at the end. But at the same time, I have been called a spic on here about 100 times. Most of the time I have ignored it but I can't ignore it when somebody steps into a non racial thread I made and starts throwing it at me. So I honestly got mad. Then somebody tried to justify his use of the word spic by saying we Hispanics use nikka all the time and I pointed out the flaw in that. I will admit, I could have chosen my words better, but I was mad.

Seems to me like you already see why you got that ban.

This is also true. Liggins was against it, but the ppl with the hammer felt you deserved it. So your own words were used against you.

This board has gotten waaaaaaaaaay off course. Lax moderation does not equal no moderation and anarchy and we have been approaching that point. Standards have to be set. There were pretty much none for so long the place became infested with trolls. We're righting the ship.
