is it just me or is the DLC for dark souls 3 extremely difficult ?

the DLC is kicking my ass, and i'm not even on NG+ . just barely got by sister friede, but had to summon an npc to kill her.

My character is decently spec'd. He has 30+ on most important stats such as vitality, strength and intelligence and mid 20s on faith, and endurance.

Also i have a few weapon that are upgraded to the max.

They patched the DLC a while ago to make it easier than what it originally was when I played through it. I'm more referring to the Ringed City DLC

i thought there are only 2 dlcs? ashes of ariendel and the ringed city.

ashes of ariendel is extremely small. it's only 1 level and can take about 2 hours to finish depending on skill level. and

there is only 1 major boss and 1 optional

the ringed city, i just started, it's a bit bigger. i read online it's about 7 hours of gameplay.

My Pyro build been making quick work of the base game once I got the chaos infusion on my longsword for that A/A Int/faith scaling plus my Pyros do good dmg but this dlc scares me now
