Life has always been a struggle for most people

there was never no period of peace and tranquility, or great upheaval without massive amounts of bloodshed and consist effort of keeping the barbarians at the gates

and most people aren't fighters, activists, or revolutionaries

but they are parents, doctors, tradesmen, IT, artists, military and ex-military etc.

so symbolic gestures, even at their most tame, can suffice for the time being.

99.9 % of people are just trying to live they life and get what they can out of it before they kick the bucket

I mean shyt this is what is happening in the Ukraine right now

they're a few hairs away from being invaded and carrying on like a day that ends in Y.

That’s the problem.

why the fukk is everyone looking to escape their reality?? Don’t you see that as a sign of sickness?

Why is every day life such a struggle for so many people to the point where we need a fukking game used as an escape from our every day lives?

Be happy that some old ass rappers are performing on a stage yet nobody who looks like them owns anything?

Breh fukk all that shyt

Respectfully

thats my point. Every day life shouldn’t be such a struggle that we look forward to a Super Bowl to escape from reality.

Why do I want to escape my daily life?

everyday should feel like a fukking holiday.

That's not realistic at all breh

you'd have to take into consideration what that entails and how that would manifest

look at it like this

when Americans get bread and are tired of the states and move out to other countries whether they be Latin America, Africa or Asia

someone from there is footing the bill for their/your comfort

meaning the breh from Capetown, Manila, Mexico City or what have you

has that boot of oppression and inequality on the neck extra hard because of your presences and leisure

it's a lot like the effects of gentrification, but on a global perspective

thats my point. Every day life shouldn’t be such a struggle that we look forward to a Super Bowl to escape from reality.

I understand all of that 100%…

I just have an issue with Americans putting so much importance and emphasis on fukking celebrities and all of this meaningless shyt when it means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

I understand that people struggle and classism…

But the amount of dikk sucking and all of that people place on the wealthy and 1% is just some lame shyt. The fact that we have billionaires and homeless people living within a two block radius is just some sick shyt

i feel what you're saying fam and to be honest this was the first one I saw since the whole Kaep shyt years ago...

it's just alarming that we can all see the shyt but NO ONE wants to even bother shaking the shyt up...

can you really imagine the NFL with nothing but white non athletic ass players? shyt would be a snooze fest like every other sport
Don't get me wrong. They're definitely racist in a lot of areas but at the end of the day the black people in the NFL choose to work there. Nothing is gonna change as long as they have black people willing to work under these conditions.

When kaep kneeled that was the opportunity for all black men in the NFL to say something. They kneeled and still played and worked for the NFL. If all black people stopped watching all professional sports they would still be a multi billion dollar industry bc there's a lot more racist and people that don't care about black issues that watch sports than us.

But I really didn’t give a fukk about that game nor the halftime show yesterday.

The only thing that stood out to me was how much of a minstrel show and full-blown circus that shyt is.

capitalism is at the forefront of everything but it gets super heightened during the Super Bowl from the new TV ads trying to force people to buy shyt they don’t need to the game in its self.

To me it’s really sad and disappointing how many people are praising this fukking halftime show like it’s the greatest thing in the world. You had a 50+ year old nikka dressed head to tow and gang affiliated colors dancing and singing for fukking middle aged cacs…

1992 was a long ass time ago but the same ass bullshyt stereotypes keep popping up and being perpetuated in mainstream. It’s like where is the growth and evolution in any of this shyt?

They look at us as only means of money. In their eyes we are only good to run jump and catch a fukking ball. We are only good for singing and dancing and making these fukking people feel comfortable.

But Not one black soul owns shyt in the NFL… and it’s crazy just how many people are OK with that…:snoop::damn::mindblown:

I was goin through some bullsh1t in 2016, so I wasn't able to follow, but did the 49ers blackball Colin Kaepernick or was it the entire NFL or both, because I haven't been able to look at the SF 49ers the same since then.

I'm open to all answers
