Is it me or are the amount of advertisement on youtube outta control these days?

now I remember they have had ads for a minute and thats cool. but every time I wanna watch a video, there's a fukking commercial before, and they have fukking popup ads at the bottom of the screen that pop up randomly. I also notice this doesn't happen when u embed videos such as on this site. but if ur on their site, the shyt is retarded. and I notice this mainly at work where I am forced to use IE and no firefox with adblock like I got at the crib.

they keep fukking up, and a new upstart streaming video service will come thru and crush the buildlings, cuz no one wants to inundated with commercials.

I noticed about about six months ago. No dis. Anyways since then I've maybe watched ten videos on there...definitely no music videos unless its posted on here.site is beyond :flabby: and sick.I completely agree a new website is gonna come through and go voltron on it.let's all avoid using it til then, friends.

also, the popups are intrusive as hell. the popup inside the actual video is like 1/3rd the size the video from the bottom. fukking bullshyt. I shouldn't have a popup when u force me to watch a commercial before the video.

its a catch 22. they need money to keep it free so they sell ads to get money the ads are annoying but i'll take them over it being a pay site cause i wouldn't pay. and new upstart would run into the same problem.

I just watch it on my phone and then DL the shyt I need to see to get around any sort of bullshyt. I usually download from the flash sites anyway unless it's something I NEED to check out immediately.

like I said, an ad here and there is fine. but a 30 second mandatory ad plus pop ups is too much. why I need 30 second ad to watch a 1 minute video is ridiculous. soon they will start interrupting ur videos in the middle with commercials. why can't they put ads on the side like regular google does with their search engine. yeah the ads are there, but they are far from annoying and non-intrusive.

Not even being a console fanboy here, this is news to me. On PC don't even see it really. I did, but not lately. Maybe its my proxy

Yeah, I don't have that problem. I be watching Power 105.1 videos and no commericals. I even pick the videos in advance via watch later or with my phone, I can find new videos then add them to my que on my xbox. Can you do that on PC?
