Anyway, I love my mom’s spaghetti and meatballs. But there are levels to this shyt. Her sauce from a jar can’t compete with the marina in real Italian restaurants. Her pasta can’t compete with freshly made pasta.

And her ass refuses to use pork, it’s always just ground meat. That’s my biggest complaint. A REAL meatball is mostly pork.

I do a good turkey spaghetti but it's nothing Iike having native dishes where it all started. Pre game with the aperol spritz at a modest seaside spot. :ohlawd:

For the main course A nice back vintage bottle of Barolo and some homemade zucchini pasta. Fresh squid that was in the water an hour ago. :ahh::steviej:


Been going to Italy b4 b4 it was cool to proudly commit illegal acts on social media.

I love us but nah you tripping OP. Who the hell puts hot dogs in spaghetti? We’ve put sausages in before. But that’s it. Us FBAs cut too many corners. Store bought sauce. Garlic powder. Don’t know how to cook noodles. Its not our natural food and that’s ok.

Yall ain't eating real italian spaghetti though.

True it isn't real Italian.

However I would say that most black folks enjoy our version much more. I believe it's a southern (Alabama, Mississippi, etc) thing. When they migrated north to the D and Chi the tradition continued.
If there is a fish fry in Detroit and nobody made spaghetti somebody getting shot:pacspit: jk.
