Is it me or do fast food workers/customer service workers have some bad attitudes

Most are very polite, and having worked that shyt before, some of the customers, of which I am sure MUCH of the coli falls under this category, are ignorant, overly picky,
wishy washy, rude motherfukkers who make it hard to get out of bed every day. The great majority of customers are no problem. Easy to please. Don't rock the boat.
Then you get that small percentage who will hit the drive through, then walk in bag in hand, scowl on face DURING RUSH HOUR up-fukking-set because they didn't get enough
of a sauce, or a couple pickles were on their sandwich. Then you get the "No mustard or pickles, but put that MAC sauce on, no lettuce, fries...and I will wait for the new batch."

I swear every day you go, just stick around for a few minutes. Most of the workers aren't tripping. But the work is low pay, long hours, usually some lying ass bosses who cant keep
up with promises, getting your hours cut when you need em
, and being called in when you would rather be with your people...If the service bothers you, just stop patronizing fast food joints.

Half the reason workers are bent out of shape is because of the small amount of customers who make HUGE issues out of fukking nothing.
True .

I said this before I do not play with customer service! I expect the upmost respect and I always reciprocate whether or not. I know how it feel to work behind the counter.

My first real gig was McDonald. I never had a issue treating people well it apart of the gig. Some cats though b.s al the way to treat cats like shyt when their superior not around. If you going to have an attitude every day you might as well get a call center gig I'm just saying.

Breh, I never worked fast food, but I did do retail for almost 3 years in a store that was progressively more stingy with it's hours. Go from working 5 days a week as a new guy to hoping for 3 days. And each of those days were 4-5 hours at most.:shaq2:Mind you, a 20 mile drive to, and a 20 mile drive back. I made NO fukking money working their all those years. I don't excuse folks having an attitude, but
between that and these "Be lucky you have a job" motherfukkers that condescend to you while you are working...it really is no way to live. You spend months or years working your ass off for nothing
more than something to put on your resume. I will say though, it builds character like a mothafukka.

Mines experience is opposite, and plus I know how it feels to work long hours with low pay and rude customers. It is what it is :manny: plus I don't go for conversations, I just want my food and be on my way

I agree, I used to work security at Met-Life Stadium and I got to do an event job for Super Bowl 48. I worked at the Lexus Club Box Section and i'll tell you this, I would take the common angry retail customer over the drunk, condensing fukweeds I dealt with but it helped with my tolerance for BS a lot.

Breh, Retail shaped me so well(and having multiple sisters:shaq2:) NOTHING bugs me on the job anymore. Its easy. I miss being a Host/doorman for that reason. I could talk down most customers
who were having an issue, and it was worse because it was working at the first brewpub to open in the area. It was busy everyday, and nights were a freakshow.

You meet the absolute worst pieces of shyt working retail and fast food. Whats really fukked up is you might meet them outside of work and they are the nicest people ever:wtf:
They see you in the uniform though:francis:every problem they ever had...they channel it into fukking with you.

Backstory: I worked retail in the hood, AND in a high-income suburb with women whos only concern was getting to Yoga class on time.
Feared for my life in the hood; feared for the customers life in the burbs:mjlol:

Customer are generally wrong. I worked Customer service for free, for years (volunteered at the College World Series for 4 years, sold shirts and concessions).

The answer is people do not like to accept the word no.

"People would be like, "You guys have the chicken strip basket, is there like a rib basket with fries and a drink?"
"No there isn't a meal like that, its $13 for a half order of ribs, plus 4.50 for fries and $3.50 for a drink"
"Well, isn't there something you can do, That's what I want but I don't want to pay that"
"You can have that, but that's what you would have to pay, it's basically the ribs, and fries and a drink ala carte,"
"Well is there a manager I can speak to? I've been coming here for a long time and I have series tickets and eat here everyday so there has to be something that can be done."
