Customer are generally wrong. I worked Customer service for free, for years (volunteered at the College World Series for 4 years, sold shirts and concessions).

The answer is people do not like to accept the word no.

"People would be like, "You guys have the chicken strip basket, is there like a rib basket with fries and a drink?"
"No there isn't a meal like that, its $13 for a half order of ribs, plus 4.50 for fries and $3.50 for a drink"
"Well, isn't there something you can do, That's what I want but I don't want to pay that"
"You can have that, but that's what you would have to pay, it's basically the ribs, and fries and a drink ala carte,"
"Well is there a manager I can speak to? I've been coming here for a long time and I have series tickets and eat here everyday so there has to be something that can be done."

Folks SWEAR the manager is like a wizard or some shyt :mjlol:

They're gonna say and do exactly what I just did, just like they trained me to

Aint no nikka happy to be working 9 to 5 at a shytty ass fast food restaurant or a bullshyt telemarketing job.:ld:
:huhldup:Some of the worst work ever. That and customer service. Folks call into customer service to complain about shyt you can't even help them with.

When I was doing billing during the summer, customer service would get calls about our device, be told by the rep that the rep can't directly do anything about said device as there
is a process, and the customers would make it known they are just venting and that they should hear it.

And yes, there were frequent reports on our customer service team about being "rude" and uncaring. IT plays shyt back...its just the customer making shyt up:rudy:

it is the worst. They act like youre inconveniencing them by ordering food.

at wendy's, i forgot to add a strawberry lemondaed while ordering through the drive thru. So at the window, before i paid, all I asked was "can i add a strawberry lemonade?" :ld:

this chick yelled at the top of her lungs "OH MY GOD":martin: :birdman:

And then all she did, i swear i'm not making this up, was literally turn around grab the cup, and hold down the lever for the lemonade. She didnt even make one step to do it, but it was the end of the world to her. Then she acted like nothing happened.

No breh, adding shyt on your order after its already been ordered is a process:skip:

Idk about Wendy's but at Arbys it requires getting a manager, having them void the order, redo the order with the shyt you wanted instead.

Trust me, having to do shyt like that 10+ times a day gets annoying as fukk cause eventually the manager is like :what: and you just wanna leave em alone but you can't cause a customer REALLY wants to add something to their order/change something.

Then you tell the customer "well, I can make it s separate order:ld:" and no lie some will ask "why can't you just add it onto that one :why:?"

Customers really get mad like "so I have to pay again? :beli:"

Yes bytch you do :what:

Trust me breh, you were probably like the 20th person to come thru and do that shyt to her, it really gets annoying cause you got everything set now it's another interruption it what should be a smooth process.

Especially if they wrapped around outside. There's probably 30 folks inside with one cashier, somebody else yelling at the manager, backline can't make the sandwiches fast enough, we done ran out of shake mix, we out of trays, the trash is literally coming out of the trash can, we waiting on fries cause the new kid is a dumbass, we got 3 cars parked out front cause chicken takes 5 minutes to cook.

It's really hell back there and you became an interruption that wouldn't have happened if you didn't need to change your order at the window :manny:

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
Unfortunately I've only had rude service from black employees. Mainly younger ones. Older employees not as much. I usually get good service from white and hispanic employees. I try to go out of my to be nice to a brother or sister that works at a restaurant, Walmart, target, etc because I know they have it rough but it gets frustrating.

don't even get me started on black chicks, BW behind the register treat a BM like shyt and smile @ the cacs...and I'm a polite person, I don't give nobody a hard time because I know what its like to work at those spots...But most see their baby daddy when one of post up.

This happens way too often. Now it doesn't happen all the time for you kats that need that Not All disclaimer but it happens more than I'd like. And I smile and speak. Not fake like but just, you know... Kudos to the minority of sistas who don't take it the wrong way. I guess if you're smiling and greeting them you must be seeking out a phone number. Thirsty nikkas messing up the world.

Don't get me started. I won't lie, the best/funniest customer service I've ever had from an african girl. I had that chick laughing and blushing, and the dude next to her was :francis: cause the old lady cacs were pissing him off

I blame it on this "the customer is always right" :trash:I like the "can I talk to your manager?" when there's nothing the manager can do. I was once *this* close to just saying to a dude "man, FOH. Take your $5 elsewhere":wow:

Lol working at a bank doing customer service = hell :mjcry: I'm a really chill dude, and I once told a customer when I was working at a bank "look, you called ME. I'm happy to help, but I'm not here to take your abuse or condescension. If you want to talk politely like I'm talking to you, I'll help you. Otherwise, call back when you have some manners." Nikka tried to complain to my manager about me(she let me listen in) and she basically said "he's never had a complain, and frankly, I'm surprised he held his tongue for so long with you.":pachaha:Nikka called back and got me:russ:

Black folks are the worst when it comes to customer service, sad to say that's why it's difficult for me to support all black owned business.
