Most are very polite, and having worked that shyt before, some of the customers, of which I am sure MUCH of the coli falls under this category, are ignorant, overly picky,
wishy washy, rude motherfukkers who make it hard to get out of bed every day. The great majority of customers are no problem. Easy to please. Don't rock the boat.
Then you get that small percentage who will hit the drive through, then walk in bag in hand, scowl on face DURING RUSH HOUR up-fukking-set because they didn't get enough
of a sauce, or a couple pickles were on their sandwich. Then you get the "No mustard or pickles, but put that MAC sauce on, no lettuce, fries...and I will wait for the new batch."

I swear every day you go, just stick around for a few minutes. Most of the workers aren't tripping. But the work is low pay, long hours, usually some lying ass bosses who cant keep
up with promises, getting your hours cut when you need em, and being called in when you would rather be with your people...If the service bothers you, just stop patronizing fast food joints.

Half the reason workers are bent out of shape is because of the small amount of customers who make HUGE issues out of fukking nothing.

Thank you someone who gets it. I guarantee by "bad attitude" OP means some dumbass reason like they don't "smile" or they keep a pokerface. This has been one of the strangest shyt to me in retail or fast food. Especially with grown ass men. Who gives a shyt if they not cheesing it up for me as long as they ain't disrespecting me. Like me at my job I just try to make sure to greet people and then when the transaction is finish I wish them a good day or holiday. People just wanting you to be extra hard like your at a clown show. I remember this black dude was with his girl and he was fine at first through the order and then when finished bagging came to pay. This nikka asked if he can split the payments ok no problem. When everything goes through out of nowhere he smiles and says some shyt like "This is hilarious, using 3 separate cards to pay a bill...i know he is cracking up over this"...And almost immediately after that dude spazzes on me saying "Its ok to laugh at your job breh...LAUGH..no one is gonna get mad at you... LAUGH". :francis: Its dumb shyt like that gets me heated. I wished the woman with him a happy new year when giving the receipt and this is why you here people say all the time "its always that one person"...

Cause its true/ Like you said the majority of customers are no problem but its always that ONE PERSON that makes you annoyed the rest of the day. A grown ass black man disrespecting me as if i'm a toddler in sunday school. Dude is probably gonna go home and in the future talk to people about how he has dealt with "miserable" and use me as an example all because I didn't laugh at his corny ass joke :francis:

Now you guys can talk all you want about the black chicks who give bad service and I'm not denying there is no true in that but I have certain white employees who ihave found out have been there for ages who do the same shyt and you guys don't make the same complaints. Those "black chicks" yall would get fired by complaining within months. This older white lady at my job i heard has been there since like 97, I have witnessed her being extra rude to tons of people and I look at the shyt like "why don't people say shyt"... :dwillhuh: People can yell at folks for "not smiling" and then the actual disrespectful people like her they turn into church mouses. Acting sarcastic when people ask if she is open or chastizing them when they do the wrong thing on the debit/credit machine. Yeah its gets annoying but I always am respectful with people as long as they are with me and they don't catch an attitude with me. if i pulled the shyt she does with customers i would be gone in a second.

Usually I'm polite to people that deal with my food. No matter if I'm in a Michelin star restaurant or at McDonald's. A quick greeting along with words like please and thank you go a long way, instead of "gimme a number 7 with a coke, hurry up".

Don't piss off people that handle your nutrition. They could add some extra shyt you ain't even ask for

I've worked enough customer service to know that customers aint shyt.

And they will lie and exaggerate scenarios to make it look like the worker was in the wrong while they were polite little angels

Pretty sure it's happening in this thread:martin:

Black folks are the worst when it comes to customer service, sad to say that's why it's difficult for me to support all black owned business.

see right after i put my post. this is the dumbass shyt i'm talking about. nikkas support 1 black business in 6 years and have a bad experience and get on that "this is why i dont support black business". the hilarious shyt is when they have a bad experience with ONE BLACK PERSON at a WHITE OWNED BUSINESS and then they say its there reason for not supporting black business :mjlol: like listen for a sec does that shyt make sense at all?

I love going to the Golden Krust by me often and I always get good service. I have witnessed people being rude to workers and or getting disrespectful and you know when they went home they use that "i went to golden krust and was disrespected this is why i dont support black businesses" line...

like i said i agreed black girls in general seem to hate giving service to brothers. i don't deny that but just remember don't turn quiet when you see a white or spanish disrespect you. at my job though there is a Black girl my age who gives great service to everyone black or white.

folks be on their phone yapping ignoring the person one day and have them ring up their order while stretching across to bag....scanning their coupons, etc wish them a good day...Then the NEXT TIME they come to the store they decide to pay attention and they not on their phone now....this time though they get bad service and they get angry and say they always get bad service and then say nothing about the time they weren't even paying attention and got good service and didn't thank the person.

Not all, I've met some cool ones (usually the HS kids) but the avg fast food worker is angry esp the older ones...they look at u like this :demonic:when u come in with a fresh shave ,clean fit, cut, no bags under your eyes, no wrinkles....

how is it the customer fault that you're in that situation? when I was working retail making 9 an hour I always treated ppl good, because I knew I had to figure my situation out and it wasn't the customer fault (although I was discriminated against for professional jobs) but that's another thread for a different day. I still wasn't bitter at work

I know the long hours and pay suck and u have to deal with a$$holes sometime but most of the angry people don't try to leave, I know this angry white dude at Little Caesars that been there for 4 years now and hes always angry at the world....why not learn a trade if u cant find a better job?

don't even get me started on black chicks, BW behind the register treat a BM like shyt and smile @ the cacs...and I'm a polite person, I don't give nobody a hard time because I know what its like to work at those spots...But most see their baby daddy when one of post up.

They have a shyt job and get treated like shyt by people all day

I would find it odd if they weren't upset

If you gonna quote me, quote me right. I said, " it's hard for me to support ALL black owned business." Meaning that some black owned business won't get my support because they're unproffesional & have terrible customer service. I'm not sure where you getting this bullshyt of me supporting 1 black business in 6 yrs from but, you're far off.

Work for minimum wage
shytty customers 24/7
Customers who can't clean after themselves
shytty managers

Why SHOULDNT they be pissed? :dahell:

I'm more impressed by the ones who don't have attitudes tho, that's some strength

the shyt hilarious to me about the entire shyt is that we all average thousands of customers a week. the ones who make shyt extra difficult for us and fukk up our day the irony is that THEY USE TO BE IN THE SAME JOB. it goes to show how dumb humans can be. You would expect them to be like "i was in your position and i know to be respectful and keep that in mind". but its like they get married and have kids and forget all that shyt.
Breh, Retail shaped me so well(and having multiple sisters:shaq2:) NOTHING bugs me on the job anymore. Its easy. I miss being a Host/doorman for that reason. I could talk down most customers
who were having an issue, and it was worse because it was working at the first brewpub to open in the area. It was busy everyday, and nights were a freakshow.

You meet the absolute worst pieces of shyt working retail and fast food. Whats really fukked up is you might meet them outside of work and they are the most cowardly people ever:wtf:
They see you in the uniform though:francis:every problem they ever had...they channel it into fukking with you.

Backstory: I worked retail in the hood, AND in a high-income suburb with women whos only concern was getting to Yoga class on time.
Feared for my life in the hood; feared for the customers life in the burbs:mjlol:

fixed that for you breh. they are the type to throw stones and hide their hands. it has not happened to me but i always wanted to see that shyt of meeting someone who disrespected me in public in another venue male or female and see how they react/act. And I don't mean that in a threatening way to beat them up(unless i want to :mjpls:

I mean that to see how fake they are. Its like out of work they get shocked that your a regular human like them but with the uniform on your a strange species. I remember the one time when i first started working I was off that day i just went into a mcdonalds and bought some shyt to eat. I see these 4 white women sitting at the table in the Mcdonalds across from me i recognize as customers.... I get a look of :krs: from all of them and one says "You work at ____that SUPERMARKET!!!! :krs: :krs: :krs: its like :beli: If its someone i'm cool with and shyt its better but come on man you a stranger. I dont know what is it about these jobs that people wanna get extra involved or all in your business.
it is the worst. They act like youre inconveniencing them by ordering food.

at wendy's, i forgot to add a strawberry lemondaed while ordering through the drive thru. So at the window, before i paid, all I asked was "can i add a strawberry lemonade?" :ld:

this chick yelled at the top of her lungs "OH MY GOD":martin: :birdman:

And then all she did, i swear i'm not making this up, was literally turn around grab the cup, and hold down the lever for the lemonade. She didnt even make one step to do it, but it was the end of the world to her. Then she acted like nothing happened.

What you did is probably irritating but if she really did yell like that I would have to agree it was over the top. Like I said i agree with tons of shyt like that and its frustrating but I always will be respectful as long as the person is being respectful to me. Sometimes people make mistakes. I realize years back when i was younger and never worked maybe I did something that annoyed a worker. Maybe a family member of mine has done so. People fukk up and make mistakes. If you had told me you had forgotten that strawberry lemonade and if its something that happens in general with customers, i guess i would be irritated but i would know its a mistake that you forgot and i would just say GunRanger dont worry about it and wish you a happy new year :ld:
Breh, I never worked fast food, but I did do retail for almost 3 years in a store that was progressively more stingy with it's hours. Go from working 5 days a week as a new guy to hoping for 3 days. And each of those days were 4-5 hours at most.:shaq2:Mind you, a 20 mile drive to, and a 20 mile drive back. I made NO fukking money working their all those years. I don't excuse folks having an attitude, but
between that and these "Be lucky you have a job" motherfukkers that condescend to you while you are working...it really is no way to live. You spend months or years working your ass off for nothing
more than something to put on your resume. I will say though, it builds character like a mothafukka.

You can say this a million times. People don't realize how much its true..Especially with women...i can be called sexist or whatever but especially with women those type of jobs builds alot of character and lets you learn to understand and read people very well. folks wont understand what were talking about until they spend time.

don't get me started on how management loves to have white girls only at customer service and cashiers who have been there longer than them(especially black cashiers) will be stuck on register. there are at least 4 girls like this at my job. i was there before all of them. all within a year where in customer service. Yeah technically the hourly pay is still the same as mine....but on average they have them making more money than you because customer service usually gives more hours because of the high demand of people going there. and then you get the ones who will be front end supervisor who also have been their a shorter time than you and start changing on you and acting self important.
