If anything in sports reminds one of slavery it's the NFL combine. They seeing how strog a nikka is, how fast, how high he can jump, in hopes of being selected to work on an nfl team with unguarunteed money. To make it worse they runnin around in spandex with #s and positions like its one big cattle call.
At least in the nba, these cats signing guaranteed contracts right at the jump without any shucking and jiving.

I hear at the supplemental draft not only do they have a slave auction but they have chains around the athletes' necks. That's why they don't televise it; they wanna hide that slavelike structure.

i guess one can say that an nba player can become a free slave... I mean a free agent once he finishs his work at cotton field... I mean forfills the terms of his contract and then runs to another team and continues work at another plantation... I mean NBA team.

There are two problems with comparing pro sports to slavery...free will and millions of dollars. No matter what kinda fukked up shyt you can say about the NFL or NBA or any other business model nikkas chose to go there and they get paid handsomely. You got millions of nikkas wishing they could be in that boat.
You think Africans were over in Africa like "Man I wish I was a slave, they got it made."
"Damn 3 more inches and I woulda been a slave."
"Man I coulda been a slave if I had applied myself." 
"Man I know nikkas that coulda been slaves." 
If slaves were getting paid millions and had some of the advantages and opportunities that these athletes have I don't think there would have been as many escape attempts.
All jobs have their fukked up parts. You can make (faulty) comparison to slavery for almost all jobs. Pretty much every job is about using you up and then spitting you out with no regard for your feelings or your family and moving on to the next one when you are too old unless of course you are the owner.
As long as you are getting paid and have time off and got to chose where you work the word slavery should not come up.

I think the whole process of the NFL workouts and drafts remind me of the slavery. I was in the CFL combine and even that made me uncomfortable. Stripping down to our boxers getting weighed and having all those old white dudes stair at our physique.

This seems a little bi polar because you equate nba free agency to slavery, but now people are hating because these "slaves" are having fun and playing for a living?
I'm quite sure Harriet Tubman, and Sojourner Truth felt as if they were having the time of their lives waking up at the crack of dawn, breaking their backs picking cotton in the hot southern sun, being raped and molested by old white cacs, getting whipped and beaten and killed and hung on a whim.
Mind you, all while not getting a paid not fukkin dime. So I guess 1619 -1865 were the golden years in Black Athletic Achievement.....
