Kobe’s record you fukking moron. Everyone knows it’s not Wilt’s record. The same reason we are talking about Bam even though he didn’t break THE record is why people are talking about Kobe.

You Bam stans are fakkits

I almost repped you for restarting the fukkery in this thread :russ:

Kobe himself would respect it. He literally said…on video…and we have the evidence…that he wants his achievements to be surpassed.

Somehow you have less respect for this than Kobe.

Odd.
Nah he wouldn't
Bam quite frankly isn't good enough to deserve 43 free throw attempts.
He's not that caliber of player

There’s two camps of dissension on this it seems. People who are just Kobe fans and don’t want his benchmark eclipsed. And those who may not care about that and simply were turned off by the “manufactured” aspect of it. I’m the latter. If it was okay for people to criticize Russ’s triple dub season saying it wasn’t authentic (which many did), then it has to be allowed for people to recognize what took place with Bam’s performance.

Where you’re for it or against it, Yall are taking this way too serious. The arguments are eclipsing the performance.

It's not the points....it's not how he got the points.

It's about WHO he is.

If this was Curry, Bron, Luka, Wemby, Joker, KD etc., the story would have legs.

Bam is a very good player but there's levels to this shyt. It doesn't track with who he is as a player. It's unfortunately viewed more as a fluke accident rather than an all-time elite scorer just going ham.

Nikkas trying to convince everyone watching a man shoot 43 throws during a game is a stellar performance when they be in here crying about SGA, Harden, etc shooting 10 plus FTs a game.

some dude in the other thread was talking about "he should've stopped at 80 out of respect".
yeah, like kobe would've stopped at 99, "out of respect". :childplease:

Kobe warmly welcomed Lebron with open arms to L.A...Mambasexuals have rejected Lebron for his entire Lakers stint.

Kobe rooted for the Lakers to win every game...Mambasexuals cheer and celebrate when the Lakers to lose.

Kobe embraced players surpassing his records/accolades...Mambasexuals are bitter when players pass Kobe's scoring accolades.

You're right. They love to brag about Mamba mentality, but none of them are really about that life:mjgrin:
