That flow everyone uses in cyphers and freestyles now? That's wack. Rae & Rocs talking almost mumble slow flow is cool but can get boring IMO if done too much.

it is not a mumble flow,..
it is the slow flow.
the slow flow, is the type of flow.
that is the foundation to creating quality rap albums.
plus, the flow that created the actual first credible full length rap album.

i have no problem with people saying he's boring etc..

I could see how someone may think that, his production is definitely not the norm hip hop production...and he's super duper monotone and raps about nothing really. . That said, for those of us that get it, Marci is that nig.


His shyt is 'Speakeasy Gangsta' shyt, lol. I can imagine his shyt playing on a jukebox in a Speakeasy/Lounge in the hood or sumn, shyt fresh. He got a 1920's Humphrey Bogart/James Cagney aura with it, that's my lane all day as opposed to these other cartoonish clowns if I wanna hear some ignorance. You can tell he draws from a lot of early-mid 1900's shyt, from the samples to the old school pimp references to the movie clips he be playing on his shyt, etc... Def an acquired taste, abstract art shyt.
