can't really even say its a recent wave, I left Seattle in 2010 but when I was out there I had a homie who was a barber, his 3 sons stopped talkin to him because he wouldn't cut their flat tops anymore, he said there were too many kids coming in the shop asking for it and he wanted his kids to be different, they were ready to ride or die for their flat tops
