Is it me or is there no respect for the working man, the hustle or being responsible and independent

Anymore?

Like 15 years ago or some change, if you weren't working, were at home doing nothing but chilling or doing stunting, showing off and etc without working for your shyt, folks were looking at folks like :usure:. Folks would shame folks for real. Folks would question folks on why they spend all day on the computer or their phone texting. That life of luxury shyt wasn't respected if you didn't work for it.

Flip fast how many years later and you got grown ass men and women bragging about doing the total opposite. All this talk about being in charge but the moment folks gotta work and deal with life, they are ready to talk about baby boomers and how the system is rigged. Yet they aren't doing shyt or doing something that makes no sense. folks want something for nothing.

even if you worked at McDonald's or was cleaning toilets, folks respect that earn your keep shyt. What happened?

I don't think folk don't respect a hard day's work, they just aren't buying into the bullshyt of that's all that life is anymore.

I hear you but I see some folks that are saying what you're saying trying to fight reality or not being realistic at all. They basically are shooting themselves in the foot then thinking the system is rigged.

Respect by whom and ask your self does their opinion really matter....................

I'm just saying man. It seems to be more of the norm to be honest at least with my generation it seems.

Those people are losers and would never respect work anyway.

Dunno about them being losers.

This is exactly what I'm talking about

Woman who quit 80K a year NBA job to become a rapper, is now homeless

Like I get it but I don't get this idea of avoiding the realities of life such as working and taking on responsibility just to do what someone wants to do. Makes no sense. It doesn't work. All that work shyt should make them more motivated to live their dreams while working. She could have did all that and kept her job or at least found something else that allowed her more time to do that shyt. Basically hustling backwards

Breh that's just a dummy taking a risk with her dream. Unfortunately for her it didn't work out, but she bet her entire future on it.

Maybe I'm not following you but I don't see a lot of people jumping in that same boat.

She bought into the bootstrap mentality without understanding that you can't bootstrap without a safetynet aka she ain't white :usure:
