Sh1t is annoying as hell. Sometimes i press the wrong input buttonon my tv remote trying to switch to cable. Press the wrong button & now ps4 turns on. Is this suppose to happen? I checked the net. i didnt see anyone having the same problem.
Is it normal for my Ps4 to power on when switching hdmi inputs?

It's probably because you have HDMI-CEC turned on the PS4:
