When I was paid to post late 90's to 2003_2004 or so..
It was more common to split up accounts..
Start a topic with account #1..
Then join in the discussion with account #2
But that was when sparser participation was typical
Now there are sooooo many high volume posters
Freely giving their time and life energy to create content
Things have changed significantly

It takes a lot of work to standout in 2016
As late as 2007 I got voted poster of the year at a place with 2000-2500 daily participants
And I did it making a total of 250 posts
Yes, they were better than shyt I post now
But id probably need 250 posts a month these days just to establish a meaningful presence at coli or similar
