Nah, breh. Nah. Some of our people infuriate me tho. Its one thing if you get called into work or were legit double booked. However, skipping a charity event for netflix and chill is that bullshyt.


You're right tho. I could have called them everyday and been up their asses. I just assumed everyone with a smartphone used their planner.

This aint about white people. It's about artistic integrity and professionalism. I don't care what white folks do. I booked black folks and others because I want to see them succeed. When they back out or just flake, I take it somewhat personally. I'm mainly mad because it was a fundraiser for charity.

Most the time I resent black people is related to being around a majority of white people, I generaly have no problems with other black people (outside of actual problems not petty shyt) when I am in a black community.

I miss being around a majority of black people.

I don't think its right to be resentful, but I can understand the temptation to seeing as how we're judged by our worst and seeing as how if one of us makes a mistake we all have to take that L at once. I just try not to be so ethnocentric, and realize that not every black person was able to grow up as fortunate as myself, and so maybe some of them are lacking socially.

Why are you trying to act like it's not a black thing? The thread is about how do you feel when others perpetuate stereotypes. Don't get all post racial on me. This is nothing derogatory. You can't save everyone breh, focus on yourself and once you get to a position of greater power it'll be much easier to give back to the community

People feel the pressure to not want to conform to those stereotypes because of it sometimes and it causes them to under perform in testing environments.
