Is it not disrespectful to Reverend Dr Martin Luther King Jr when you make posts disparaging religious southern black people?

You'd probably call MLK a Democratic shill if he had an account on the coli lol
The irony is MLK himself admitted that he realized white people were using him and that he integrated his people into a burning house. :francis:

Much respect to MLK cause his heart was in the right place but crackas misdirected him from Black rights and reparations into fighting for a general POC collective. That basically is the excuse used to not place any focus on the injustices done to Black Americans who were enslaved and built this country. America will focus on any group (LGBTQ, Latino, immigrants, etc) to steer away from making amends to the 1 group that has suffered for centuries the most.

Religion is 1 of the weapons used against Black people and literally the main basis of Slavery in America. The catholic church literally decreed slavery the will of God. :scust:

And the Africans bought in Africa and brought to America had Christianity beat and forced onto them.

Agree. Not too familiar with OP, but if their favorite thought leader YTer/influencer prompted people to call MLK that, they would start referring to him that way within a week.
Passage of Civil Rights legislation is what directly caused Southern white members of Congress to defect en masse from D to R. Literally switched sides rather than agree to laws that protected the rights of their fellow Americans.
King was a strategist and was agitating for more gains and protections, so he wasnt going to tip his hand. But it was clear then, as it is now, which party is in opposition to those gains and protections.

The MLK and Malcolm X quotes about the political parties were their actual words, but propaganda crafters incorporated them in scripts to audiences that wouldn't know or care about their context.

People insult their hypocrisy. Dr. King was a Christian who actually believed in the teachings of Jesus and was HATED by amerikkka. When he died, the conservative "christians" celebrated.

Its like how people want to pretend that Nelson Mandela was some kind of apolitical "let's all get along" type of guy when in fact they constantly called him a soviet agent and a terrorist for having the audacity to fight for the rights of the black majority that was being purposefully harmed by a white supremacist power structure.

Southerners get clowned because of their aggressive, proud stupidity and hypocrisy. I've never seen anyone who has smoke for black southerners but not even MORE smoke for their white counterparts.

I don’t think anyone has an issue with regional jokes, we all do it. My issue is how vitriolic the rhetoric towards southern black people, especially southern religious black people can be. I know @Field Marshall Bradley knows exactly what I’m talking about. You already have a clown running in here playing obtuse
"They" used to regularly make we need to get rid of useless black people (aka southern usa states, no other countries) to progress forward as a race threads around 2015 - 2017 when "they" weren't claiming to be black on the coli.

But hey... We're all black now and the police can't tell us apart so all is well right?

....

:jbhmm:IMO a lot of the hate for southern black people comes from white/black :mjpls:and non-black people of color:mjpls: leftists and progressives who like to blame southern black people for why Bernie Sanders did not make it out of the primary. It's like those types of people that are on the left politically have a real hard-on against black voters; you can see it in threads/posts made about Zohran Mamdani, who progressives are now deeming the new Lisan al Gaib now that Bernie Sanders is:flabbynsick:.

Weird suggesting that people can't be critical of the problems with religion because there were some great Christians. The premise is false. You are using MLK as a shield for religious criticism is more like it. They pacified and held people in submission with the bible. Doesn't make it evil. Doesn't mean you can't recognize the power it has in the wrong hands.

I’m not religious :skip:
You can’t criticize and make fun of people for believing in “ white man’s religion “ or praying to “sky daddy” yet say you respect someone who’s very essence was rooted in religion. It doesn’t work that way and yall know it.
