Is it only marriage, or do you guys invest in other things that have over a 50% failure rate?

And there you have it ladies and gentleman. [/thread]

I am certainly glad that you chose not to get married. Selfish people really shouldnt be in any relationship, marriage or common law.

I wish selfish people opted out of parenting just like they are opting out of marriage

Who cares if a child's mother is destitute... It won't harm the child in any way.
so it's selfish to not want to give money to a woman who chose to leave

but not selfish that you are BREAKING YOUR VOWS by leaving the marriage

and there you have it ladies and gentlemen... selfish women logic that they should be allowed to back out of a lifelong commitment FOR BETTER OR WORSE, and get paid for it... just cause i don't know why

get married brehs

Why Everyone Was So Wrong About America's Alleged Divorce Rate

Those who married in the 2000s are so far divorcing at even lower rates. If current trends continue, nearly two-thirds of marriages will never involve a divorce, according to data from Justin Wolfers, a University of Michigan economist (who also contributes to The Upshot).

It's just not true, never has been. You are just repeating some shyt that's been debunked for years :manny:

so I gave gov results

And you gave a sentence from the damn huff post that starts with IF and continues to tell us what MIGHT happen in the future

Today is today... Today the rates are 50% and it incorporates all the marriages. By the same govt you pray to validate your marriage before god

There is no government stat that says 50% of divorces end in divorce.

You are being an idiot right now :francis:

NVSS - National Marriage and Divorce Rate Trends

:snoop:

You can't be serious breh.

Total failure in interpreting the numbers you see.

Just because there are half the number of divorces then there are marriages in a given year, does not mean that 50% of marriages end in divorce. It doesn't work like that.

In any given year the divorce rate is derived from ALL the marriages that started in previous years. Some of the divorces might be from marriages that started the previous year, some might be from 20 years earlier.

You are taking that number and comparing it to the amount of marriages that happen in one year.

To accurately calculate the "divorce rate" for any given year, you'd have to follow all the marriages from that year and see how many made it. That's what the researchers did in the report that I posted.

I don't need to get married ever. If they wanna leave, peace out.
This is where the only privilege of loneliness comes to play: I can never grow 'too attached' to anyone. In fact, I need my privacy.

No I never once did it by year. Nobody in this thread ever said it by year. Nobody has ever claimed it by year. You did that

We simply said the rate is 50%

Of course every year half the people who married the previous year don't get divorced. What type of idiot would believe that

Point is. You can be married for 40 years. Get divorced. Guess what. You're part of the 50%

That all
