i just think if you're super nice guy all the time, you're gonna keep going thru the same tests with women until you react differently. Find the middle ground.

I heard a quote, "life hardens those who are soft, and softens those who are hard"
For this instance this quote can mean that even if you're "mr nice guy/jacket over puddle", in life you're gonna encounter situation(s) with some women where you HAVE to be an a$$hole or jerk. But at the same time, you can't live in that zone(tho some guys do) and be an a$$hole/jerk to almost every woman.
If life/universe in general is about finding & achieving some sort of balance to things, then what say you brehs?

It goes both ways for men and women, if you respect and treat everyone nice you WILL be used and taken advantage of.
i'm not much of a philosopher 
but i try to remember i never know 100% of what someone is thinking or what their motivations are
so at best i have incomplete information on what i see them hear or do
i don't think of it as respect or disrespect
but things that don't impact me or interest me are low priority
i have learned it is undesirable to have opinions about everything or everyone
so as to women, i treat most of them neutrally
but i'm different than most guys
that one thread brehs estimated they would consider having sex with up to 90% of the female population
at my absolute wildest and least selective, i'd only consider 1 out of 5 women
subtract out who is my age, my general life circumstances, and is available
so it is easy for me to treat 98%+ of women neutrally because i'm not checking for them

Checking a broad for acting up is not the same thing as being disrespectful. You should treat everyone with respect. When they get out of pocket, you act accordingly and keep your distance from that point.
We're not going that far. Treating people well until given a reason not to should be the motto for everyone
Everyone gets treated the same by me at first, unless they make it incredibly obvious why they should't be respected.
