I mean like how you can print a file to PDF. Basically to have the program think it's burning a real physical CD when it's really creating an image file.

Trying to strip the WMA protection off some audiobook files and it would be easier to create isos then rip the isos than to actually burn CDs and rip them.

Anything is possible with the glorious Master PC Race.

I think I may have found something but I'm not talking about burning an ISO to a real disk i'm talking about a program that emulates a CD burner and tricks other programs into thinking they're burning a CD when they're really creating an ISO. I then take that ISO and rip it using a CD ripper program and I now have MP3 files that can be played on anything and I'm not wasting disc to do it. I have a demo called Virtual CD that seems to do what I want.

yeah breh, we been doing this for ever. daemon tools, virtualcd, isoburn, etc...
all i needed was virtualcd. It created a virtual CDRW i could erase and reburn and within 10 minutes i burned and ripped an 11.5 hour audio book. beat the hell out of playing it back and recording the audio like was suggested to me.
