Nelly did have like 5 #1 singles and the album sold like 8mill wit a different sound and style..........im jus sayin

wtf does that have to do with the quality of the music!? it's a cool album, i copped it when it dropped but i wouldn't call it classic by any stretch of the imagination, maybe you could call the song a classic but not the whole album.This album sold 8.5 mill brah. That isn't a negligible feat
Read my first post in here. I never said it was a classic based on quality. I think that there is different types of classic in hip hop such as cultural, commercial, and regional classics. When an album catches fire like this and spawns hit and sells like this I don't think you can just swat it down. People are always calling shyt classic that only 8,000 people have even heard before

how can you have a classic that is not good musically? lots of albums have sold millions & millions of records, like dude said, Britney Spears. Why can't an album just be "successful" or "relevant" or "influential" why it gotta be "classic but based on some random weird criteria that has nothing to do with being classic"
