Nah, I don't see many people rappin like Eminem or tryin to take his steez. I rarely even hear rappers quote any of Eminems lines.
His sales/numbers and impact on the rap game don't really match up.

Nobody really tried to be like him except Asher Roth, them Odd Future cats and Hopsin...

He opened up the market to a whole new audience...
If that's what u mean by influence he had a bigger impac than both....he made whites become bigger fans of hiphop on a less casual basis and the numbers became inflated....the more more money to be made off hiphop the worst it became...from the people who sell it and the rappers themselves,and people wanting to rap....so yes eminem helped ruin hiphop

Whites have always been the main consumers of hip hop music before Eminem even came on the scene. Biggie gets quoted more, sampled more, and get his flows bitten more
