It implies that she wants the role of a man

A woman can be described in many different ways.... strong is a red flag

The same reason black men say 'I am a black doctor' and white doctors don't call themselves 'white doctors'

The same reason people call black billionaire's 'black billionaire'' while white billionaires are simply billionaires.

Why would a woman want to be known as a "strong woman"?

This implies you don't need a man. It's a red flag. No sensible man is going to want to be with a woman who acts as if she doesn't need him.

No sensible man is going to be with a woman who feels that she is strong enough to challenge him for head of the household

Ladies, find another way to describe yourselves if you use such a word. Say "focused", "ambitious", or any adjective that positively describes you, but stop using words to describe yourself that make you seem aggressive, combative, and non-cooperative/compromising

Cause that's what I hear when I hear the word strong.
