is it safe to say that Michael Beasley is garbage?

I dont know what it is I look at him see the talent he has the skills. But his IQ is low. I think his confidence is fukked up also. Where John Lucas when you need him.

As a #2 overall pick he's a bust, but he could definitely be a solid 6th man.

i don't even think he can be that. He's strictly a catch and shoot, tweener SF/PF.

No D..No hustle...No basketball intelligence..No boards....and a lackadaisical attitude.

He doesn't do anything to help you win games. It's almost like he's out there playing "21" all by himself, in the middle of a game.

His J is nice at times, but like I said, his game exist outside of the team dynamic/concept.

I used to think he was some type of untapped, enigmatic talent, but after watching him closely, I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing in China within the next 2-3 years.

In fact, I think he could only work on a team like the Lakers. It would take a stacked team to hide his deficiencies.I still wouldn't count on him as my 6th man.I do think he could be a scorer on the 2nd unit.Maybe more like a 7th-8th man and that's it.His overall game is anemic

I wanted to believe in him.The way he dominated at K State...the catchy nick name (B Eazy)..and the smooth lefty jump shot..........He just don't got it, though.....he just don't got it:wow:

He can score. That's all you want from your 6th man.

no reason a strong 6'10 cat with that vertical should be averaging less than 10 boards a game

when he's focused, which is rarely, he scores with such ease

it all boils down to effort, which he clearly lacks

....His vert is 1950's Caucasion status compared to even the average athlete nowadays

Overall,He's a poor man's Chris Mullin out there(not talking about his hops...just his overall game...he could out jump Mullin..barely:mjpls:)

At least Mullins could shoot lights out. :rudy:

Don't ever compare Mullins to Beasley ever again in your life. Imma have to send @NYC Rebel to protect Brooklyn's pride and joy.

Mullins in his 4th year was dropping 26/5/5 on 50% shooting with 2 steals and he played all 82 games averaging 37 minutes a game.

Them dudes weren't seen as can't miss/top rate/potential superstar/eventual franchise player like Michael Beasley was

If you put together a list of college prospects coming into the NBA the last 12-13 years, Beasley would probably rank in the top 5.That's how talented people thought he was coming out

The man's a big time bust

:smh: Should have took a cheap deal to play for the Lakers and come off the bench. There has been a bunch of ways the Lakers have tried to get him. He is not starting material, but he can still be really good and great off the bench for a contender imo though. :ehh:

This.

I don't understand how a player doesn't see the positives in playing for the Lakers.

1. It's the golden standard of franchises(Celtics are as well)

2. It's in Los Angeles

3. (it goes along with #1 )The Lakers will always try and make moves to be a contender.
