I've never seen such vitriol spit at a man player/coach/front office guy:picard:

I know the fanbase has been upset with what he's done so far, but the way stephen A. was going ballistic it seems he will leave rainclouds over the franchise for years to come:wow:

Yes it is that bad.

But SAS just yelling for the sake of yelling.

Phil could walk on that First Take set tomorrow morning and SAS won't do shyt but be respectful and yell in a playful way with smiles to make everyone comfortable and be "in" on the gimmick.

It will all work out. Phil isn't gonna be there forever, and regardless of the Unicorn being upset he's not leaving NY anytime soon. They will have salary cap space soon, they haven't traded away any draft picks so they can pretty much start from scratch. They need a full rebuild they need to stop these half ass comeback teams they've been doing since 2000. Besides 2012-13 they could never put a good team around Carmelo has been the real problem.

Stephen A has been going at Jim Buss like this for years. It was awful when he was on the radio out here. Ironically, he was mad because Jim wasn't hiring Phil to run the team. He's a fukking moron.

We've been saying this for 15 years :mjcry:

I agree though, we've always needed a full rebuild.

No, see that's being a little shortsighted. What frightens me, as a Knicks fan, is that Phil is being allowed to stick around for another two years, where he has promised that he is going to be "more involved" as respects trying to implement the triangle, and he is going to waste time trying to prove that the triangle works as a standalone offense. That could mean that he passes on glaring team needs in the draft like a dynamic point guard to pick some player who is more "triangle-friendly". Now add to that the fact that Phil said on Friday that his aim isn't necessarily to win a title but to "change the culture". So now what happens is that after two years, we're back to square one because whoever is hired to replace Phil to run the basketball operations is more than likely NOT going to be a triangle proponent. So that renders all this time spent as a glorified experiment.

This would be have been the ideal time for Jim Dolan to tell Phil to kick rocks, just based off the record alone. The team has gotten worse, not better, and it seems that Phil wants none of the blame even though he runs the show. But the problem is, now you've got Dolan on some :hubie:when it comes to getting rid of Phil, cause he likes the fact that the main person people are beefing about is Phil and not him. And he can always fall back and say, "hey, I did what ya'll niiggas wanted and fell back... Now ya'll want me to get involved again?" So it's probably worth $24 milly to Dolan to keep Phil around another two years to take all the bullets.

As Knicks fans, we just want to see something that indicates that there's a clear and viable plan in place. It's been clear from jump that Phil doesn't know what he's doing, and his more recent moves and actions have :wtf: written all over them. What team president is out here badmouthing his star player in the media? Throwing shade over twitter? What team president talks bad about a player that he is known to be trying to trade, and then thinking that he's gonna get maximum value for that same player that you just outlined all ya problems with? It makes no sense.... "Hey I'm selling this 2014 Kia Optima... The alternator is a little quirky, the brakes are shot... The transmission might need an overhaul too. Sometimes it just stops in traffic without warning... But I can't let it go for less than $25K" The average niigga on the street can look at the way Phil moves as an exec and go :patrice:

what really made me:ohhh: was when smith said melo had been getting attacked by phil for months. I'm not a fan so I wasn't really plugged into the general goings on of the organization so that was definitely:merchant:
