His vertical was never that impressive, however now it compares to that of a tiago splitter
His defense is very motivational, however motivation can only take you so far without the legs beneath you, he hasn't been able to stay in front of his man all preseason
His FG percentage is straight trash
He needs to just go ahead and call this his last rodeo and make a final tour while having fun out there, because winning a ring looking like this will only further his injuries and dilute his accomplishments.

Kobe won't retire on his own terms, he'll be forced to retire early which will be ugly (if the last few years haven't been ugly enough) and it'll probably happen this year. It's karma. He's been a horrible/selfish teammate over the years so this season he's practically all alone on a young team full of no names and players no body wants. It's lebrons league now. The lakers aren't relevant. Kobe is but the sports media doesn't respect him. We all doubt him. The only one that really respects kobe and still believe in him is kobe himself. That's sad because he's arguably the 2nd greatest player of all time and people forget it already.
But best believe when he does retire it'll be bigger than Lebron coming back to Cleveland or anything since the day MJ retired.

I enjoy watching him play. He's a one man show, but at times has been the greatest show on earth. When Kobe leaves he'll be the last of an era, an era that I loved. I think him staying is more sentimental than anything, because his team's gonna stink for the next couple of years.

It has been 4 preseason games after dude has been sidelined for 1.5 years, calm the fukk down and let dude get a few games in.
Kobe shot 20% in the preseason in 2010. He followed that up by having a regular season where he went 25/5/5 on 45% shooting in 33 minutes. aka typical kobe.

He can be a major contributor on a loaded team on a championship run as long as they dont ask him to play major 36+minutes. He's a savvy veteran that can help young players. But the problem is that he is ...KOBE. The ego maniac of ego maniacs. He'll want the ball and want to be the focal point of the offense no matter what.
This is why i didnt want Kevin Ollie to go to the Lakers. No point of ruining a young up-and-coming young coach by having a egomaniac like Kobe undermining him as he tries to implement his system.
