Is It Time That We Accept That NXT Is For Us And WWE Is For Them?

Obviously NXT is a developmental ground but it has been taken to a promotion where you get the great WWE production with a wrestling and booking style that makes more sense. It's obvious the main roster is Vince doing whatever he wants to do so why continue to fight it when NXT can be everything we want it to be?

I was gonna make a similar thread soon, but I'm tired. I still feel WWE >>>>> NXT.

BUT NXT has some better aspects.

i low key wish they would just call up most of the nxt guys/girls and just go back into developmental mode for a year or so...not necessarily call up EVERYBODY...but call up all the ones who are ready and give the people who have been just sitting down there a chance to build a character...

if i could sit thru full years of the vaudvillains(who i like), sylvester lafort & baby kane, the drifter, bull dempsey, etc...then i dont really mind if the star power kind of drops down for a year or so because they are signing everybody up anyway..theres always gonna be something to :eat:

NXT isn't trying to be a variety show, it's a wrestling brand that's there to develop characters. That definitely speaks to me as a fan so I'm looking at it as a "peace offering" too

NXT isn't in bed with a bunch of sponsors who theyre trying to please all at once. .. plus they don't have everyone on every single week having the same match ups over exposing them.

RAW/Smackdown will always have their place but NXT feeds my wrestling nerdness

You gotta look at it like this though. Last night's TakeOver featured precisely one homemade talent in Baron Corbin, two if you include Bayley. Every other competitor on the card came to the WWE from another promotion. So as far as a developmental area goes, NXT is still pretty much basura. As a wrestling show it is probably better than Raw/Smackdown, if only because Vince isn't booking NXT.

Totally forgot about them but that goes by my rule that tag team wrestlers aren't guaranteed to work as singles wrestlers.:yeshrug:

Even if both teams are fire (yes, even team 'Which one's Dawson? Which one's Dash?'), they're never going to be carrying Raw and Smackdown on their back.

The revival and American Alpha as well.

But I have to disagree with you totally about NXT.

NXT is developmental, not just a wresting school.

They're not just teaching these guys to do scoop slams and cross body's.

These dudes are figuring out their wardrobe, brand, entrances, persona, promo's, how to play to the hard camera, facial expressions etc.

So while Sami Zayn was El Generico for years. This is a whole other ball park as far as his career and training goes. So in that respect he's a total NXT product.

Same with Finn, obviously these guys are all playing to there pre NXT strengths. But the packaging and final shining of the product is on the E.
