For the life of me I will never understand why these past 10 years at all these festivals and shows she has been more into "singing". She knows she is/was a better rapper. I think if she continued focusing on that more than the singing it would be better for everyone. I hope this isn't the reason why but i get the feeling she acts like that because she feels society as a whole respects singers more.

I would have said even 2010 at rock the bells or whenever it was when she lied and announced a comeback she could have had a shot then. I wish someone had told her years ago you can sing from time to time ...but people really wanna hear you rap instead.

After hearing about her behavior over the years, Lauryn strikes me as a woman that's really afraid to get back into the marketplace. She feels that as long as she has Miseducation as her meal ticket, she can't fail, but you can only live off that one album for so long. It's time for her to do some new joints to get that audience back that she lost.

Her "one hit album" was both commercially and critically acclaimed. You make an album that good then you really can't follow it up.
