I lived in Small towns before

Unless it's like real real small like 3k, then yeah everyone knows everybody. But if it's a decent sized small town like 30k, then nah. They might know of you, but never know you fully. Some people you may only see once in a while

Sorta.

I grew up in a small town and pretty much everyone knew everyone growing up, and if you didn’t know someone you knew their brother or their aunt or their kids or whatever. For the most part. Particularly for those of us who were even the slightest bit social.

I’ve lived in big cities my whole adult life and the shyt is different, but in a way it’s similar if you frequent the same places, which most people do.

The positives is there is a level of built in trust when you’ve grown up around the same people and your parents know their parents, etc, so we all look out for each other. The downside is it was hard to pull off fukkery in high school without somebody letting my pops know. :dead:

My mom’s family is from a small town of like 100k and by the time people hit their mid 20s, everybody has either met each other or knows of each other
