Is it true yall don't put ketchup on hot dogs in Chicago?

Nah no ketchup. Everything on it is understood as mustard, relish, onions and a sport pepper. I mostly stick to just mustard and onions. A polish just mustard and grilled onions.

I’m from Michigan and growing up we just put ketchup, mustard and relish if you liked that.

I remember going to Chicago and we got a hotdog with a pickle on it it was lowkey fire tho. Just how they do stuff out there.

These days I only eat hotdogs at BBQs

Ngl, I'm in Texas and don't see that too much. It's either mustard/relish/peppers etc, or chili dogs.

Never had Chicago-style until 15 years ago, but now it's my favorite even when making 'em at home.
