Some people conflate sexual desire with love, that's the problem. Its an aspect of love. It's also the trick. You want to keep the sexual desire and the love. It's hard to do both long-term.

Wouldn't word it the same way but I think he's not far off. A women's love is very fragile and conditional if you didn't come from her womb. Desire itself doesn't necessarily last but the imprint you leave on a woman when she really desires you sexually effects a woman on a deeper level.
