Is it weird if you live in a city for years but you never been to certain parts of the city??

I always think about this. Growing up and living in the same city for years, there's just certain spots that i never went to cause I never had a reason to.

Does anyone got the same experience??. I can understand not going to dangerous parts of the city but like famous spots...

It's different. Went to college in bmore and found it different that folks from west or east or north bmore never ventured out of their respective quadrant let alone outside of bmore period.

If you live in NYC for example, there's no reason for one to go to Staten Island. I honestly think very few New Yorkers have been to every single neighborhood in the five boroughs.


Even in Brooklyn, not every neighborhood is worth visiting..

Been just about everywhere in LA. From curiosity to my job. Got a lot of in certain neighborhoods...but challenge yourself to see how people live around you.

Depends on the size and how diverse the population of the city is. There's enough hobbies in existence that one, another or a few different hobbies to get you all over

i live on the north side of st. louis, and never go to the south side (too and )
never go to east st. louis (illinois) either cause it's just too dusty

In reply to the hobby part of your post, one of my hobbies took me to every neighborhood in NYC at least once. Even been to a bunch of places in the surrounding suburbs and New Jersey.

I always tell myself that one we're going to wake up one Saturday morning and drive around the city and always at different spots, but it never happens.

Yup you name it. Photography, run clubs, bike clubs, fishing, music...they'll usually get you out and about to places you wouldn't normally go. Then before you know it you've been pretty much everywhere.

Hell there's groups that go eat food or drink coffee at different restaurants and bars.

You don't necessarily have to be a part of a group to go do the shyt on your own if you're interested.
