Is it weird that all the movie theaters near me are only showing two different movies?

I don't go to the movies like I used to but I always had 6 or 7 movies to pick from normally.
All the theaters near me are only showing Dune 2 and Bob Marley: One Love and I have several theaters near me.
I don't remember this happening before. Is this normal nowadays?

I literally just counted the Cinemark here got 25 movies (over 10 of them are Hindi or Korean movies) playing right now.

I live in the DFW tho and the movie theater always booming!
