Is it weird that my wife and I sleep in different beds?

My wife and I cannot sleep in the same bed peacefully. We have separate rooms and beds. Im a light sleeper. She snores and has audiobooks playing in background. She sleep with heating pads while i like the bed cool and I always have a fan on. She likes her little dog sleeping next to her and dont trust her since she peed on my pillow .She has to get 8 hours a night to function while i good with like 5. We’re both miserable when when try to sleep together. Despite sleeping apart we don’t lack intimacy. Expecting our first child end of summer. But some of my fam thinks it weird

My dad and his wife and they have been married 23 years

It's because my dad has quite severe OCD. My mum told me when they were married back in the day she didn't have to clean the house because my dad would do it all again anyway. He is still the same and has to have his own bathroom, it seems to work for them.

Everyone that snores isn’t fat. She like 130lbs.

Background noise is fine which why I usually have fan going. But sleeping with people talking in background is something different
