I feel you OP. I fukks with Bo, he's a fellow HBCU grad, brings that ism when it's time to call folks out for that bullshyt, and is knowledgeable on a bunch of topics.

But, he's so full of himself sometimes, he doesn't realize how corny and smug he comes off as. The childish Twitter barbs and constant #blocked is annoying as hell. I deleted the Evening Jones since he can't talk sports on there.

With that said why doesn't ESPN give him his own sports-centered podcast?

Bomani's a smart dude. I appreciate his input on a lot of things, namely social issues. He normally hits them right on the head. That said, he comes off as both condescending and sensitive off the screen. It's basically throwing stones while he lives in a glass house. Had to unfollow him on Twitter a while ago

I liked it when dude was on sirius radio. his ego wasn't as big as it is now that he's seen on national tv almost every day and full time with E!SPN.

At his best he's poignant and analytical....at his worst he's condescending. He'll break a topic down and then act taken aback if you try to approach his "truth" in a different manner. Just because you talked about something at length doesn't mean you're gonna come to the correct conclusion on every issue. That gets annoying but he's necessary in sports media and I like hearing him out even if I disagree.

better yet, with all the cornballs that ESPN radio has on syndication, why doesn't dude have a show???? he has radio experience, and did a really good uncensored show on sirius for a couple years.

Yeah I get what the OP is saying and I respect and like Bomani for the most part.

He is very intelligent, makes great sports and general culture points but because he is that dude who does he always carries a certain arrogance that seeps through on other things. Definitely with Hip Hop, being he's from the south he'll give a pass to some of the music coming out of that region and mock the downfall of NY/sometimes LA to hype it up and just be arrogant without using the same amount of intelligence he does on other topics

We all know a dude like him, respect him but he might be just as much an annoyance as much as someone interesting to listen to.
