No it's not wrong. Though frankly the preferred approach would be to talk to your partner and explain thoroughly how this is affecting your relationship negatively. If that fails, then make moves to separate and cheat on. There is an expectation for most people to have sex with their spouse or partner. If one partner, male or female is not holding up their end, then they are breaking the unsaid contract of the relationship.

Let's not kid ourselves. Even though we dress up our modern relationships with all these emotional ornaments, we are all sexual human beings at our core and base and this is something that needs to be fulfilled. If you insist on monogamy then you have made and unsaid commitment to provide sexual satisfaction. Sex would be on the bottom of the relationship pyramid if you were to draw a parallel to Maslow' hierarchy of needs with all the other stuff being the top.

Notice how I'm trying not to use gender pronouns here. I notice a lot of these replies are sort of buying into the idea that women don't like sex as much as men and this is strictly a male problem. If you don't satisfy or have sex with your wife or gf after she explains that she is unsatisfied, she isn't any less wrong to cheat.

My homeboy, God bless his heart, hasn't had sex with his wife in YEARS. Their children are 15 and 13 and she stopped when the oldest was like 3 or 4. No head on his birthday, fathers day ass or NOTHING. I told him to leave her ass a long time ago, especially while he was unemployed but he's in it for his kids. shyt is completely unacceptable but every marriage is different so it's easy to say what to do from the outside looking in.

I think some women see sex as "something they have to go through" in order to secure a marriage and a stable situation. For those women, marriage is the end of one life and the beginning of another (the mother life). While for most men, sex is very important physically and mentally, which women understand as : Men are dogs.

I'm not sure what they worked out but it's still a big deal to him but he wouldn't cheat on his wife. He vents to me about it now and then...like he has zero intimacy in his marriage now. It's sad.
