I like Jada a lot, you feel with him he has too 10 potential but I don't think I could put him in a top 15 unfortunately currently, but it's not over till it's over.

:ohhh:

Young, restless, talk so reckless
Two hundred thousand up in my necklace
Four of ya Hummers wrapped round my neck bytch
I ain't mention the Rolly red-neck like Texas

Line made more sense back then, even if you didn't agree with it. Lots of guys that were Jada's peers, vets, and even new guys since he came out have made lots of albums that make the statement impossible. IMO no matter how good someone is at rhyming, the top 5/10/20/whatever list comes largely from your discography. Jadakiss is one of my favorites but he has no classic albums. If he said he was top 5 at dropping 16s I don't think I'd disagree with him. But top 5 DOA of all time? As a solo artist? Outdated line for sure.

:ehh: Good summation of the situation. He wasn't the only person putting himself on the list (Eminem mentioned him in "it goes Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie... Andre from outkast, jada kurupt nas and then me") but just like nobody mentions Kurupt in top-10 (well Kurupt also fell off) it turns that just spitting hot lines from time to time doesn't keep your legacy going.

Where in the hell is Jadakiss Top 5 Dead or Alive? Ha! Only sorry ass New Yorkers carrying around honeycomb speakers and living in the 90's believe this nonsense. Jadakiss is just a average rapper outside of New York.

The regional fall off of East Coast in the 2000s also diminished his staying power in the lists for sure...
