Bobby Lashley leaving WWE when he was clearly going to be the cornerstone of the company ALONG SIDE cena going forward.

The money he left on the table is incomporable even with the push he is getting now. I am not questioning his REASONING, however.

I remember when Lashley left, there were conflicting reports why he left. The one that got all the gossip was he left because of Kristal. But the other report said that they were gonna de-push him and had no real plans for him. If the latter was true, he'd just be sort of hanging out like Sheamus is right now. He got to do MMA like he wanted, so it's not a total bad move for him.

Not a total bad move?

He's the current most decorated champ in the industry right now.... Sheamus is a 6th round after thought, jobbing to Ceasaro and didnt even get that bump or respect from being in a major summer blockbuster movie a MICHAEL BAY movie.

Let Cena get a roll in a MB movie, Vince wouldve did so much shyt for him

More people watched the Network only portion of the draft than watch Impact in 6 months. Lashley having a bunch of titles in TNA means nothing when no one is watching it.

fair enough.... but Sheamus position also equally means nothing when he's only on Raw twice a month and does nothing meaningful or loses when he's there

She was always those things though.

Really? well damn they have a funny way with words cuz the way its discussed... they act like she just transitioned over to that role like its new or she never had it:jbhmm:

Either way, does the Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer really have they hands on the roster and creative like that? Or dont they mainly focus on the other side of business?

I think this was Dixie's way of putting Billy Corgan over Jon Gaburick, without domoting John and making him leave. He was the VP of creative and talent relations and the real guy running it for Dixie, and Dixie just gave those responsibilities to Corgan.

James Storm -- Turned Down NXT Deal Due to Lack of Pay, TNA Offered Significantly More

The best things in life may be free, but when you’ve got a family to feed MONEY TALKS — and that’s precisely why recent NXT wrestler James Storm re-signed with TNA before his surprise return.

As we previously reported, Storm was never locked down to a long term deal during his two appearances on WWE programming — and James’ former employer desperately wanted him back.

Sources close to the situation tell us after months of negotiations, WWE was only willing to offer him a deal that would bring Storm less than $100K a year. TNA, on the other hand, was offering 2 1/2 times more than that. Plus, he’d get a portion of merchandise sales for the 2-year contract.

Even better, we’re told his new deal would be guaranteed money — he’d still get paid in full even if TNA suddenly went out of business — and the door was left open by WWE officials for a future return.

See this report makes no sense.

So storm is getting 250,000 a year? No the fukk he is not lol. They cannot afford that, or they would have kept Aj. Moose just got 110,000 and that was them stretching the budget to the limit.

Then the part about him getting his money guaranteed through Panda is also wrong, because when he resigned his deal, TNA and Panda energy were seperate companies, and had been for about 4 months. So unless Dixie is paying him out of her own pocket, this entire report is false.

Huh? He and Owen held the tag straps until 6 months before he left and they still worked with Taker, Shawn and Austin in various forms of tag matches with Bret on top through the summer of 97. shyt, Bulldog's second to last PPV he was in the semi main event. Not saying he was on the top of the card all the time but he was there a tag partner very often.

Again, he wasn't even ON WCW PPVs most of the time. So even if you are suggesting he was just a mid-carder, he wasn't even close to that with WCW.

You gotta remember WCW in 97 was on fire while WWF was tanking. His bro in law just got double crossed and many thought that was the final straw that would kill Vince. In hindsight he didn't know how badly WCW would use him. He didn't know he would fukk his back up and ultimately lead to addiction that cost him his life
