Is Jay Rock trying to put his music career behind the 8 ball on purpose??

Tony Yayo:whoa:...maybe the Freddie Gibbs of TDE,but not no damn Yayo:childplease:...they both make good music but don't have star written all over em. Will probably stay underground and continue to make great music.

Jay rock is way better than Yayo but he is the 4th best in Black Hippy. That was Yayo in Gunit

That's the exact reason that every other post in the prediction thread has a line at Future losing his fans. It's also the reason 2 Chainz didn't do well his second time around even though his second album was better than his first.

The last 3 years or so are the only times in the last 20 years I can remember being flat out sick of hearing certain rappers...even the ones who music I enjoy.

Future and 2chainz were never gonna be artists that are gonna last a long time whether they "over saturated" themselves or not.

They kindoff HAVE to do that or people will forget quickly. Not everyone can be Jay Z who can go 3 years without Dropping a solo and people will still care . I mean...Look how many dudes are saying RHQ is taking Futures spot already?

You from Grape Street aint cha? I'm kiddin breh.

Out of all the TDE camp, I heard Rock's album last, surprised me cuz I didn't expect much. Solid album though. Between that, his Money Trees verse, and his BET Cypher verse, one would think he'd be a little more active. Funny how his credibility is more established than these other artists running with the red team yet his shine isnt and maybe never will be like their's. He needs to get visible. If YG, and Nipsey can make noise, Jay Rock should be able to as well.
All I know he is from Nickerson Gardens, I ain't heard about him being active or putting in work

he just a dude from there that raps

But beside that he got a gruff sounding NY flow, shyt sound corny and wack as a LA dude

i was hyped for Rock a few months ago when Black Hippy came to my city...he hadnt dropped a new song in ages (pre Section 80 basically) so i figured in the last 2 years he had some hot joints for his live show...

well to my surprise, Jay rocked ALL old joints...came out to Hood Gon Love It...same old joints from before Kendrick blew. he had a great stage presence too.

but for real. NO new songs in like 3 years?

Because TDE is being ran like a label should be ran...NO OVERSATURATION.

You got a couple Black Hippy remixes and some loose tracks. When the projects drop, you'll be anticipating them.

Pretty much.

nikkas will argue there is no such thing as over saturation and then complain about repetition in the an artist catalogue
