i actually applaud him for not following these gay ass trends of jumping on social media and whoring himself out like certain individuals *cough* 50 Cent, The Game & Meek Mill *cough* guys like Jay-Z, Eminem & Dr. Dre don't need people's approval on anything. that's why i respect guys like that more.

While I definitely agree with this, Jay can afford to be anti-social media, his legacy was cemented before all this shyt. For artists trying to blow now, social media is basically the "streets" now. It's double-edged sword really.

Nas on social media. So I don't buy these excuses. Maybe Jay's afraid of being insulted. He might get backlash for posting how the other half lives. I think he has more fans than detractors, so he would be fine. He doesn't have to respond back to anyone.
