Just saw his tidal playlist. It reeks of an old man trying to connect with the kids. It reeks of a midlife crisis.

Jay Z with tidal...seems so out of touch. First of all...parading around with some of the richest artists of this era and making some sort of event out of it...like some tribunal...and no mention of independent artists. He talks about music and art...but honestly it seems like he knows neither. And dude don't care about independent artists...they make art. At this point hov makes jingles and 3 minute commercials set to of the moment trap beats.

Even on magna carta holy fail....Some of it seems forced...I think of that "guns on your tumblrs" line on Tom Ford. Like he just spends 30 minutes on you tube and on instagram and twitter to see what's trending...and poof! That's what's going to be on his new album.

at one time I thought he was out of touch but I think jay is too smart to be out of touch...u don't make it out of the slums during the crack era by being a dummy....jay know what hes doing, everything about him is calculated. jay treat life the way mayweather fights inside the ring, he doesn't waste a move and take advantage of every opportunity
