Read Josephus, the closest contemporary historian to mention Jesus (60 AD) he says he was what we would call now the head of a cult. His brother James the Just is written about WAY more then Jesus..... He was way more important at the time than Jesus. Paul of Tarsus not Peter ( the first Pope) went around the Mediterranean and spread the word of a cult leader. Christianity is funny from a historical perspective.
